Poulsbo's Calina Morgan spent more than 87 hours turning 29 rolls of duct tape into this black-and-white polka dot gown, earning a spot among the finalists in Duck Brand's annual Stuck at Prom scholarship contest.
The 18-year-old North Kitsap High School graduate individually cut and placed every black polka dot by hand — one of the trickiest parts of the project, she told Axios.
What's next: Morgan plans to study sustainable business along with fashion science and technology at the University of Arizona.
