Squishy, squeezable toys like the popular NeeDoh are triggering more calls to the Washington Poison Center, KING 5 reports.
The center says it has received 103 calls so far this year involving NeeDoh and similar squishy toys.
That's up from 67 calls in 2025 and 30 in 2024.
The calls typically involve children biting into the toys, causing the gel inside to get on their faces or in their mouths, according to KING 5's report.
No serious injuries have been reported, but the toys' contents can cause nausea and vomiting.
The bottom line: Don't bite into these. And once again, make sure kids don't follow the dangerous trend of putting them in the microwave.
