Going booze-free for Dry January doesn't mean you have to stay grounded, especially if you're atop one of Pioneer Square's most iconic skyscrapers.

What's happening: The Smith Tower Observatory Bar is leaning into the spirit with Prohibition-inspired temperance bar mocktails this month.

The view from the 35th floor feels special, even without a buzz.

What to sip: Take your pick from four spirits-free riffs on familiar classics:

The Night Watch, a spin on an espresso martini
Redacted, a citrusy blend of nonalcoholic London dry gin, cranberry and lime
The Dockside Story, featuring dry dark cane rum, lime and syrup
The Press Run, with nonalcoholic American malt, amaretto, lemon and egg
