Seattle-based BenDeLaCreme and Portland native Jinkx Monsoon will take the stage at the Moore Theatre later this month for a holiday celebration of queer comedy and cabaret.
State of play: The two drag queens will perform a variety of Christmas classics, original songs, skits and dance sequences with a side of political snark, camp theatrics and over-the-top costumes and set pieces.
Both Jinkx and DeLa rose to fame on "RuPaul's Drag Race," but grew up performing in dive bars and burlesque clubs around the Pacific Northwest.
What she's saying: The show provides a way for queer people to celebrate the season, even if they aren't comfortable going home for the holidays, DeLa recently told the Los Angeles Times.
"Comedy helps people access our right to joy," DeLa said.
The show's wacky script ventures into sci-fi, horror and niche pop culture references, the newspaper reported.
