Lime is rolling out a pedal-powered bodega in Seattle today, offering free snacks, ride credits and merch.
Why it matters: The pop-up event comes as Lime reports record ridership in Seattle, with trip numbers climbing higher each month this summer.
By the numbers: By the end of September, Seattleites had taken more than 6.6 million trips year to date, surpassing the 5.9 million trips in all of 2024, according to Lime spokesperson Hayden Harvey.
August alone saw 1.3 million rides, the highest monthly ridership in Lime's history. LimeGliders, launched in May, have outpaced e-bikes this year with more than 1 million rides.
Daily highs included 46,000 rides during Pride weekend and 53,000 on July 4, per Lime.
What's next: The cart will roll through parts of downtown from 11am-6pm today with details to come on Lime's Instagram page, per Lime.
