The Seahawks' season hasn't kicked off yet, but Seattle fans are already on edge.
By the numbers: Even before the team makes its first play against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, some Seahawks supporters seem to be throwing in the towel.
78% of Seattle fans say their team won't reach the Super Bowl, according to a recent survey of NFL fans by PromoGuy.
48% feel anxiety about the season.
Most expect to see the Chiefs and the Eagles face off in the championship..
The big picture: The Hawks have plenty of doubters this year with ESPN's Ben Solak placing the Seahawks 29th out of 32 in his 2025 "watchability" ranking, using criteria like big plays, close games, star players and cool schemes.
While Solak credits Klint Kubiak and Sam Darnold for past flashes of excitement, he says uncertain quarterback play drags down their audience appeal.
