Bremerton, our neighbor to the west, has been ranked the No. 2 coastal city in America to move to, according to a new ConsumerAffairs report.
The big picture: The report, released this month, looked at the livability, affordability, safety and economy of 143 U.S. coastal cities and placed Bremerton in the second spot, behind only Pensacola, Fla.
Part of the assessment touched on quality of life there, where 74% of residents live within a 10-minute walk of a park or green space, ConsumerAffairs spokesperson Dayna Drake Edens tells Axios.
By the numbers: The Bremerton-Silverdale-Port Orchard area of Kitsap County ranked 31st for livability and 36th for affordability, with typical rent at $2,096 a month, in the report that also weighed safety and the economy.
