Axios San Francisco welcomes Geoff Ziezulewicz as new editor

👋 Hello! I'm Geoff Ziezulewicz (zi-ZOO-la-witz) and I'll be editing this newsletter going forward.

Catch up quick: I was recently managing editor at the Military Times, an independent news source for troops, veterans and their families.

• Before that, I spent time at the Chicago Tribune and other publications. I've covered the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, local Chicagoland government and even Washington state's loneliest elk.

Between the lines: I love investigative journalism and using government records to expose wrongdoing, as well as wacky local stories.

Fun facts: I also love cooking and make a very solid buldak.

• Other hobbies include writing, oysters, reading and anything outdoors.
• Professional wrestling is ridiculously fun too, and I'm a proud mark. Kayfabe only!
