Lumen Field fails zombie survival test

Don't run to Lumen Field for shelter during a zombie apocalypse — it's the worst NFL stadium for surviving the undead, according to a cheeky analysis of 30 league venues.

The big picture: With "The Last of Us" season 2 set in Seattle, football season approaching, and some locals gearing up for real hardships, it's not much of a stretch to imagine strategies for outlasting the zombies.

What they did: The betting site Flashpicks graded the stadiums on 10 survival-related factors, including proximity to downtown, the number of entry points, the ability to grow crops on the field, access to fresh water and more, the company said in a news release.

Seattle's Lumen Field came in dead last, while State Farm Stadium in Arizona came in first.

Driving the doom: Lumen is a convenient walk from downtown, which is ideal for fans, but bad news when it comes to outrunning a reanimated horde, per Flashpicks.

Its open air design and use of FieldTurf instead of grass don't add to its fortress credentials.

The bottom line: Survival could be a long shot, but at least they'll hear us screaming.
