This was a trickier version of our usual guessing game, since the mural we shared a photo of last week is a pretty new addition to downtown.
The colorful mural went up on Seneca Street below First Avenue in September as part of this year's MEXAM NW Festival, which celebrates Mexican and Mexican American culture, The Seattle Times reported.
Artist Víctor Meléndez said the design was "inspired by traditional hairstyles worn by women in different parts of Mexico," and includes flora and fauna from both Mexico and the Pacific Northwest, per the Times.
Congratulations to the select few readers who got this right! We may highlight you and your local smarts in an upcoming newsletter edition.
