🏒 The Seattle Kraken named Dan Bylsma, who led the Pittsburgh Penguins to a Stanley Cup win in 2009, to head coach yesterday.

  • Bylsma replaces Dave Hakstol, who was fired following his third season in charge after the Kraken made the playoffs in the franchise's second year but struggled in its third. (AP)

📚 The Seattle Public Library is offline after its system was targeted in a ransomware attack that disrupted access to its catalog, e-books, WiFi and website.

💲 The Seattle City Council has postponed a vote on revisions to the minimum wage law for food delivery drivers that went into effect this year.

  • Council President Sara Nelson, who introduced the legislation, issued a press release before yesterday's council meeting saying council members requested a pause to consider proposed amendments. (GeekWire)
