A few Seattle Juneteenth events to check out

Monday is Juneteenth, which honors the end of African Americans' enslavement in the U.S. — and Seattleites have plenty of ways to mark the holiday this year.

🎟️ From 11am to 3pm Saturday, a Juneteenth celebration at the Rainier Beach Community Center will feature food, entertainment, raffles and prizes.

🛼 The Northwest African American Museum is hosting youth events on Saturday, followed by a film festival Sunday and a skate party at Judkins Park Monday.

🎵 The Africatown Community Land Trust and King County Equity Now are holding a festival from noon to 8pm Monday at Jimi Hendrix Park.

🎙️ The Museum of Pop Culture is hosting "Freedom Flows," a celebration of 50 years of hip-hop, at 7pm Monday. The event is 21+.
