Your Salt Lake City library card can save you money, too

State of play: September is "Library Card Sign-Up Month," when cardholders can get discounts at dozens of businesses, including City of Industry, Salt Lake Power Yoga, Culture Coffee, Under the Umbrella Bookstore and more.

• The card also offers $2 discounts to the Natural History Museum of Utah and This Is the Place Heritage Park.
• A free month of GreenBike rentals is also included.
• Discounts range from 10% to 30% off.

How it works: You can get a card by going to your nearest library branch or signing up online.

• They're free to Salt Lake County residents.
