Going to the theater? Your ticket could cover the ride

Your ticket to the theater could also be your transit pass.

State of play: Utah Transit Authority and Salt Lake County Arts & Culture are partnering for their "ticket-as-fare" program.

As of Aug. 1, ticket holders attending performances at Abravanel Hall, the Capitol Theatre, the Eccles Theater, Mid-Valley Performing Arts Center, or the Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center can use their admission ticket and ride UTA for free.
That includes TRAX, FrontRunner, buses, UTA On Demand, and the S-Line.
