No arrests as police ID victims in Salt Lake City church shooting

• Police had not made any arrests in connection with the shooting, which occurred at the church's parking lot during a funeral, but authorities believe there is more than one suspect, police chief Brian Redd told reporters at a downtown news conference Thursday morning.

What they're saying: "There are people involved in this incident that have been less than cooperative," Redd said. "We're still working ... to identify all who were involved in this incident and their roles in the matter."

Redd said a dispute broke out Wednesday outside the chapel between people who knew each other.

• Five people are being treated at local hospitals for non-life-threatening injuries, and one person has been discharged, Redd said.

Redd noted there is some "indication" that there were people at the scene involved with gang activity.
