Utah once again has the nation's lowest rate of lung cancer, per the American Lung Association's latest annual report.
By the numbers: 25.3 Utahns per 100,000 were diagnosed with lung cancer from 2018 to 2022, well below the national average of 52.8.
Between the lines: Utah also has the nation's lowest smoking rates, per the report.
The other side: Utah's melanoma rate is the highest in the nation.
