Yarr! In the final days before Halloween, buccaneers big and small should tour these outstanding pirate-themed haunts and displays in the southern Salt Lake Valley.
- These are just some of the more than 200 free home haunts and displays we've photographed and mapped in Salt Lake County.
Walk the Plank

The haunt at 11972 Lampton View Drive has it all — including tiki-themed drinks for a pay-what-you-can donation.
- The whole front of the house is now a ship that you can board, with an elaborate pirate tavern display for landlubbers.
- Check out the nearby displays near Lampton and Jordan Vista, and around Kuwahara Thriller Park.
Haunted Hollows

This annual Riverton fave at has a walk-through pirate fort with a chain bridge, other themed "rooms" and more gold than you can shake a sword at.
- Check the map to see at least three other elaborate displays around the block.
Pirate Battle

Avoid becoming cannon fodder at this dizzyingly spectacular South Jordan display on Daisy Meadow Circle.
- Continue on to Daybreak for more Halloween fun.
