Sunday marked the Tabernacle Choir's 5,000th broadcast of "Music and the Spoken Word."
The big picture: It's the longest continuously running network broadcast in the world, with weekly choir performances and spiritual messages since it first aired as a radio program in 1929.
It debuted on TV in 1949.
How it works: You can be part of the live audience most Sunday mornings if you show up at the Conference Center before 9:15am.
Erin's thought bubble: It's well worth attending the show at least once.
When I went, they sang the love song from "Bambi." It was a truly lovely morning.
