Two documentaries added to 2025 Sundance Film Festival slate

State of play: The documentaries, both in the premiere section, are "The Alabama Solution" by directors and producers Andrew Jarecki and Charlotte Kaufman and "The Stringer" directed by Bao Nguyen.

• "The Alabama Solution" centers around incarcerated men exposing "a cover-up in one of America's deadliest prison systems."
• "The Stringer" showcases a two-year investigation into "one of the most recognized photographs of the 20th century."

What's next: Single-film tickets go on sale Jan. 16.
