Pic du jour: Pickolas Cage

If you make it to the Festival of Trees in Sandy, be sure to check out this Nic Cage-themed "Pickolas Cage" tree.

How it works: The annual festival at Mountain America Expo Center is a major fundraiser for Primary Children's Hospital.

• Volunteers donate decorated trees, gifts, wreaths, quilts and other holiday items to be sold.
• Many the trees are donated in memory of a loved one, with stories about them to warm visitors' hearts.

The latest: The festival continues today and tomorrow, so pop by to check out the handiwork of hundreds of Utahns.

• Tickets cost $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and $7 for kids ages 2-11.
