Thanksgiving is just around the corner, so if you want to sidestep the kitchen, place your takeout orders now.
The big, yummy picture: Lots of restaurants and caterers are selling premade dinners and meal kits with classics like turkey, stuffing, cranberries and pie.

Full meals
Blake's Gourmet: Flexible options, with two sizes and upgrades for a ham add-on or full turkey in place of breast.

Cuisine Unlimited: Meal kits are already cooked and parbaked for reheating. A la carte options are customizable for different group sizes.

Chuck-A-Rama: One of the more affordable options, the restaurant is selling meals "hot and ready" or for you to reheat and serve. Or the buffet is open for the holiday, first-come first-served.

Eight Settlers: Two meal options, each for two different party sizes.

Harmons: Lots of mains in addition to turkey, from tamales to ham to no-meat-loaf. Heat-and-serve and ready-to-roast available.

Liberty Heights Fresh: Some of the turkey options require you to roast your own bird (fresh only, never frozen), but the store will brine it for you at an added cost. Sides are premade.

Pago: The only meal kit whose mac 'n' cheese comes with fromage forte and gremolata breadcrumbs.
