Utah-based Epic Brewing Company is launching a new beer inspired by the state's new NHL team.

The intrigue: It will drop on Oct. 4 — four days before the Utah Hockey Club plays its first match against the Chicago Blackhawks at the Delta Center.

State of play: The 7.5% ABV imperial lager called Utah Hip Check Ice will be available in 16-ounce cans at their Salt Lake City brewery.
