We've got festivals, markets and lots of sheepdogs in Utah for the long Memorial Day weekend.
Festivals
Busker Fest: Dancers, musicians, hula-hoopers, comedians, jugglers and thespians are taking over downtown SLC for a free festival this weekend.
- When: 5–10pm Friday, 4–10pm Saturday
- Where: Regent and Main streets between 100 and 200 South
Cauldron Film Festival: Come to the Main Library downtown for four days of avant-garde cinema and other experimental films. Screenings are free to attend.
- Schedule: Thursday through Sunday, with screenings listed on the festival website.
Hip-hop Block Party: Enjoy dance battles, music DJs, live performers, vendors and food trucks at a free party hosted by 1520 Arts.
- When: Noon to 9pm Saturday
- Where: 2505 S. State St.
Woodland Fairy Festival: Put on your wings and head to Gardner Village for fairy-themed interactive games and self-guided activities until June 29.
- Cost: Many activities are free, with tickets required for some food and entertainment events.
Markets
May Market: Visit Forty Three Bakery for vendors, tarot readings, live music and tasty treats 5–9pm today.
- Where: 733 W. Genessee Ave.
Pagan flower market: Peruse trinkets, books, tarot decks, and of course plants, seeds and produce at two Wasatch Front locations — and bring your own to trade or donate.
- When: 11am–4pm, with a pagan Sunday service at 10am.
- Where: Athena VII Coffee House in Sandy and The Bigelow event venue in Ogden
Vintage Market: Second Summit Hard Cider is hosting vendors at its taproom and patio 11am–4pm Saturday.
- Good to know: 21+ only
Summer Bazaar: Millcreek Commons' second weekly craft and vintage market is set for Sunday.
- When: 11am–4pm
Makers Hive Market: Enjoy live music and food while shopping for crafts and collectibles from local vendors gathered at the Gateway.

Shows, sports and more
Sheepdog championship: Herding dogs from around the world descend on Wasatch County this weekend for the Soldier Hollow Classic tourney and festival.
- When: Friday through Monday
- Where: Olympic hillside, Midway
- Tickets: Prices vary by age and date of competition.
Cirque du Fue: See the Fire Tribe spin during their fundraiser under the stars with food and live music.
- When: 5pm Saturday
- Where: SLC Art Hub, 663 W. 100 South.
- Tickets: $10 for adults, $5 for kids
Stevie Nicks: Join the sorceress herself at the Delta Center.
- When: 7pm Monday
- Tickets: Prices vary
