A meadery and bottleshop is coming to Durham's American Tobacco Campus

A new bar is coming to the American Tobacco Campus early next year, Capitol Broadcasting, the property's owner, said.

Details: Ment Beverage Co., the Durham maker of Honeygirl Mead (a drink made from fermented honey), will open in a 3,000-square-foot space at 300 Blackwell St.

The expanded space will allow Ment to expand its drink menu beyond mead to include ciders, beer and spirits, the company said in a release.

The big picture: The American Tobacco Campus' roster of tenants has undergone a significant change in recent years, adding restaurants and bars such as Parker & Otis, Seraphine, Five Star, QueenBurger and The Waiting Room.
