• In Portland and Eugene, "it is unlawful for any person to expose their genitalia while in a public place or place visible from a public place."
• Still, Portland is home to the World Naked Bike Ride and other nudity-friendly protest events and the law is very rarely enforced.

The bottom line: If you plan to strip down, do a little research first to make sure you don't accidentally become a criminal.

• But more importantly, if being naked feels like it might make someone around you uncomfortable, do the right thing and bring a fig leaf along, just in case.
