Backyard garden parties are starting to come out of hibernation for the summer and one of Portland's most iconic Italian restaurants is getting in on the action.
The latest: Nostrana recently launched its new "Wine in the Garden" series, taking place every Friday at 5:30pm.
It features a different winemaker and menu each week through September in the restaurant's adjacent 10,000-square-foot garden.
Celebrated producers — such as Sherwood's Beckham Estate, McMinnville's Hundred Suns and Landmass Winery of Cascade Locks — will provide tasting flights paired with wood-fired garden pizzas and seasonal vegetables sourced from Nostrana's own beds.
