You have less than a week to eat at XLB before it closes its doors for good on April 20, after eight years of service on N Williams Avenue.
The latest: On a recent weekday evening, lines were out the door with folks waiting to chow down on some of the city's Chinese comfort food.
🍤 My thought bubble: Not only will I miss XLB's namesake dish (softly steamed dumplings filled with pork and chicken bone broth) but the restaurant's wok-fried noodles — perfect for a midday lunch — chili shrimp wontons, and, of course, the Szechuan-style green beans.
