St. Patrick's Day events in Portland

From the annual parade to a spirited river cruise, there's no shortage of ways to celebrate the Irish on the days leading up to St. Patrick's Day.

The Kennedy School

The revamped schoolhouse will be hosting festivities Saturday through Monday, with promises of drink specials, live music and "plenty of hijinks."

The Portland Spirit

Ring in St. Patty's from the Willamette aboard the Portland Spirit's "Shamrock Cruise" on Sunday, complete with music, dancing and a full bar.

Tickets are $55 in advance or $60 at the dock.

St. Patrick's Day Parade

The city's annual family-friendly parade will kick off Sunday at 1pm, starting and ending at the Fernwood/Beverly Cleary School in NE Portland.

The Goodfoot

Better known for its dancefloor and DJs, The Goodfoot has an evening of clover-filled comedy lined up for Monday night, featuring local award-winner Ben Harkins and others.

Tickets are $10.
