Believe it or not, it's the middle of November, which means holiday markets are just starting to ramp up for the season. And those looking to get an early jump on shopping are in luck.
🎄 The vibe:The Portland Holiday Market at the Expo Center kicks off this weekend, featuring hundreds of vendors, sugar cookie decorating workshops and gift wrapping tutorials.
Browse through the stalls of handmade goods from local artisans, jewelers, artists, specialty food purveyors and more.
Roaming carolers, a 25-foot Christmas tree, a "yule tide lounge" with festive cocktails and the chance to meet Santa Claus IRL will give next-level cheer to the event's ambiance.
🎅 If you go: Today through Sunday at the Portland Expo Center. General admission is $12, children under 12 get in for free. Workshops and demonstrations are extra.
