Catch up quick: The Joint Office of Homeless Services has faced harsh criticism in the past for how it spends (or rather, doesn't spend) taxpayer money to curb rising homelessness, and has become a flashpoint in this year's mayoral race.
A three-year agreement to continue the partnership was approved earlier this summer.
What's next: A proposal to exit the agreement could go in front of the council in the coming weeks.
