Derek Hanson of Jacqueline shares his last meal

• Hanson told Axios renovations are currently underway and they'll be up and running by this fall, with the addition of a new raw bar.

We wanted to know: If he had one last meal, what would it be?

🌯 Appetizer: A mole enchilada from NE Alberta food cart Mole Mole. Though, the vegetarian burrito "is a close second."

🍣 Entree: The omakase course at the intimate, 12-seat restaurant Nimblefish.

• "As someone who works with fish all day, I am floored by their fish game," Hanson said.

🍦 Dessert: Hanson and his family visit Beau Berry ice cream truck at least once a week, and his last meal is not different. It's a toss up between the oatmeal brown sugar, pistachio and trailhead espresso.

🍹 Nightcap: At Someday, oysters and a spritz or a Tiger Porch cocktail — made with tequila, tamarind, jasmine tea and orgeat syrup — marks the perfect end to the night.

🍳 Bonus: There's a first for everything. Tapping into nostalgia, Hanson would have breakfast on the day of his last meal at Fuller's Coffee Shop, the first restaurant he worked at in Portland back in 2003.
