Poll: Eagles fans are writing off the season as a bust

Eagles fans are losing faith in the Birds' season now that star QB Jalen Hurts is out indefinitely with a blood clot, per Axios Philadelphia's poll.

By the numbers: Only 29% of the more than 114 people who took our poll see a glimmer of hope this season with Hurts sidelined.

But the majority (71%) are writing off the team as a bust — and we're not even halfway through the season.

Catch up quick: Hurts is likely out for the season after doctors discovered blood clots in his lungs last week.

The bottom line: It's never too early to start thinking about next season.
