Jefferson Hospital's top baby names in 2025

State of play: Jefferson Health, the region's largest health system, tracked the names of the more than 19,000 children born across its hospitals in fiscal year 2025 and found:

• ⚾ 35 Harpers came into the world (both boys and girls) along with another seven Bryces — likely a nod to Phillies slugger Bryce Harper.
• 🏈 More than 45 babes were named Cooper, possibly for Eagles defensive back Cooper DeJean (who had a pick-six in the Birds' Super Bowl win this year) or Philly fan and actor Bradley Cooper.
• 🦅 Seven kids were named Jalen. Their parents might have been convinced to pick the name after Eagles QB Jalen Hurts' MVP performance in Super Bowl 58.

👑 Zoom in: The most popular names for boys and girls this year for moms delivering at Jefferson hospitals were Noah (103 babies) and Sophia (60).
