Eagles' Jalen Hurts and Philly chef "Nok" Suntaranon make TIME100

Zoom out: The TIME100 list, released Wednesday, tells us about the forces shaping our lives, the magazine says.

• It includes 16 CEOs, six members of the Trump administration, a French swimmer and Snoop Dogg.

Zoom in: Hurts led the Eagles to a Super Bowl win in February by dismantling the Kansas City Chiefs and avenging Philly's 2023 loss.

• Suntaranon, who owns the popular Kalaya restaurant in Fishtown, was recently featured on Netflix, and she released a recipe book late last year.

Worth noting: Artist Mickalene Thomas, a Camden native, was also included on the TIME100 list.

What they're saying: Derek Jeter, the former New York Yankee and five-time World Series champ, wrote for Time that Hurts used his failures as motivation and is embracing the next challenge after his Super Bowl win.

Michael Solomonov, the chef and restaurant entrepreneur who's part of the team behind Zahav and other hit spots, wrote that Nok's "Thai cuisine embodies everything she's gone through and everything she's worked for."
