If you need to check off that holiday wish list, Philadelphia's markets have you covered.
Why it matters: You're knocking off two partridges with one stone: Getting in the season's spirit. Check.
- Supporting local businesses. Check.
These are some of our favorite markets:
- This two-day, outdoor market at the Black Hound Clay Studio in West Philly features different vendors each day handmade selling ceramics, jewelry, artwork, teas and clothing.
📍Where: 715 S. 50th St.
🗓️ Time: Saturday and Sunday, 10am-4pm
- The Fleisher Art Memorial in Bella Vista features handmade goods at this market.
📍Where: 719 Catherine St.
🗓️ Time: Saturday from 11am-5pm
Northern Liberties Holiday Shopping Stroll and Pop-Up Market
- Stop by Old Heritage Building for a pop-up market. Pick up a punch card, which you can fill out by stopping at participating businesses throughout the neighborhood for a chance to win a grand prize.
- Gift-wrapping at the local community center (700 N 3rd St.).
- Plus: Snap a pic with Santa and enjoy hands-on activities for the kids at Laser Philly's Winter Wonderland (829 N 2nd St., pay-what-want).
📍Where: Old Heritage building, 914 N 2nd St., for the pop-up market
🗓️ Time: Saturday and Sunday, 11am-4pm
- Laser Philly: Saturday and Sunday, noon-3pm
- LOVE Park's open-air market has dozens of vendors, seasonal bites (think bratwurst, hot cocoa and Belgian fries), plus a new 30-foot German pyramid.
- Rides The kids will love the ferris wheel and carousel outside City Hall.
- Plus: Don't skip out on the Festival of Trees display in the Welcome Center and keep on the look out for fun daily events (like spirit tastings) and workshops.

Made in Philadelphia Holiday Market
- More than 90 vendors and artisans set up in Dilworth Park.
- Snap a selfie in the outdoor Wintergarden.
📍Where: 1 S 15th St.
🗓️ Time: Open daily through Jan. 1 (with the exception of Christmas Day)
Shops at The Wanamaker Light Show
- After taking in the light show and Wanamaker organ, keep warm inside by browsing the vendor village on the first floor of the building.
📍 Where: 100 E. Penn Square
🗓️ Time: Open daily through Dec. 24 (except for today/Dec. 9)
