Come one, come fall. We have your all-you-can autumn rundown.
Why it matters: This year's lineup has something for everyone β family fun, music and food fests, art fairs and plenty of Halloween haunts.

π Fintastic Pumpkin Glow
π Sept. 25-Nov. 2 at Adventure Aquarium in Camden, N.J.
- Check out aquatic pumpkin sculptures at this pop-up exhibit, and deck out your own jack-o-lantern to take home. Included with regular admission.
π Halloween Book Fair
π Sept. 27, noon-5pm at Philly's Evil Genius Beer Company
- Bookmark it: Fishtown turns frightful with terrifying tomes and a beer garden for the older ghouls and ghals.
π¨ New Hope Arts & Crafts Festival
π Sept. 27-28, 10am-6pm, Sunday, 10am-4pm at New Hope-Solebury High School
- More than 160 fine artists will show off handmade jewelry, oil paintings, woodwork, glass art, photography and more. Shuttle from Main Street.
- Admission: $5
πΊ South Street Oktoberfest
π Sept. 27, noon-8pm, in front of Brauhaus Schmitz
- The Philly region's biggest Oktoberfest is back for its 17th year. Food and drinks, a 1,000-seat biergarten, Oom-pah music, face painting, German dancers, a Liter Lift competition and more.
π§ Hocus Pocus Speakeasy and Cocktail Experience
π Oct. 3-26 at Philly's Red Rum Theatre; Cocktails: Every Saturday, starting on Oct. 4 and running through Oct. 25.
- Stop burning the black flame candle at both ends. The troupe's monthlong Sanderson Sisters-themed pop-up is a cauldron of cocktails and bewitched performances.
π St. Nick's Italian Festival
π Oct. 5, noon-8pm, St. Nicholas of Tolentine Parish, free to attend; food and drink are pay-as-you-go.
- One of South Philly's favorite traditions, the event kicks off with a religious procession followed by plenty of fun.
- Look for all your favorite Italian food vendors, including Termini Brothers and Marra's Pizza, plus rides, face painting, games, sand art and more.
π¦ββ¬ The Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy
π Oct. 9-11 at The Fallser Club
- The macabre poet is back for a 21+ boozy sequel with four fresh tales from his dark, imaginative world. Tickets: $55.
π Scrapple & Apple Festival
π Oct. 11, 10am-4pm at Reading Terminal Market. Free
- Let's go Pennsylvania Dutch. Vendors go all-out with special menus, plus RTM hosts a scrapple sculpting contest the day before the festival.
π» Boo at the Zoo
π Oct. 11-13, 18-19, 25-26 at Philadelphia Zoo; included with admission
- Costumes, fall treats and dΓ©cor, and photo-ops.
- Pro tip: No adult masks or costumes with toy guns and weapons.
π³οΈβπ OURfest Block Party & Festival
π Oct. 12, noon-6pm in the Gayborhood; Free, food and drink are pay-as-you-go.
- Look for food trucks, performances, beer gardens, a market with LGBTQ businesses and artists, interactive art installations and more.
π Northern Liberties Fall Festival
π Oct. 12, 11am-5pm
- It's fall-topia β food and drink, live music, family-friendly activities and immersive experiences highlight the Philly neighborhood.
π Manayunk Fall Festival
π Oct. 18, 11am-4pm on Main Street. Free
- Food trucks, games, face painting, balloon twisting, live music and a Mac N Cheese Crawl (noon-4pm).
π Choreomania
π Oct. 30, 7-11pm at the MΓΌtter Museum. Tickets: $60
- DJ Yngfu keeps the tables turning as you do the Monster Mash at this costume-themed dance party.
- Plus: A sensory light installation from the artist collective Glimmer Labs.
π²π½ CultureFest! DΓa de los Muertos
π Nov. 1, 10am-5pm at The Penn Museum
- A showcase of Mexico's cultural traditions, including a monumental ofrenda constructed by Philadelphia fashion designer Virginia Rivera.
π The Inquirer Food Fest
π Nov. 15, 11am-6pm at The Fillmore, Tickets: $149+
- Get the lowdown from Philadelphia's hottest chefs, including James Beard award-winners Friday Saturday Sunday.
- Food included, plus two free drinks and free six-month access to The Inquirer.
