Donna Kelce is breaking into the mindfulness space with a new bedtime story on the Calm app.

Why it matters: Football's first mother — a title she earned after her sons played against each other in Super Bowl 57, dubbed the "Kelce Bowl" — is sharing some family memories in a story that aims to put even the most hardcore fans into a deep slumber.

Driving the news: Donna's sleep story, "The Rules of Football," debuts Tuesday for the more than 4.5 million subscribers on the meditation and mindfulness app, which raked in about $300 million in revenue last year.

  • Donna, better known as Mama Kelce, joins celebrities like LeBron James and tennis legend John McEnroe who each narrated one of hundreds of sleep stories available on the app since it began in 2020.
  • The Kelce family has already made a splash in the audio space, with Jason and Travis' wildly popular podcast "New Heights."

Zoom in: Mama Kelce's story, released this week to coincide with Mother's Day, isn't just a referendum on refereeing at the top rungs of professional football but a heartfelt look at her time raising two of the NFL's best and most beloved players.

The intrigue: Calm promises that Donna's story is packed with "Kelce fam easter eggs," such as her famous chocolate chip cookie recipe.

What they're saying: Mama Kelce says in a preview that she'll embark with listeners on a relaxing yet riveting waltz down memory lane, from sunrises at early-morning practices to staking out "the best bathrooms en route to the away games" and, most importantly, sharing her "fair share of cringeworthy touchdown celebrations."
