What's happening this weekend in Philadelphia: Nicki Minaj, cherry blossoms bloom and more

Here's what's going on around Philly this weekend.

ğŸŽ­ Miniball returns to FringeArts in Old City for a weekend of theatrical and musical performances, along with classes, immersive art and Easter egg painting.

  • Thursday through Sunday. Tickets sold on a sliding scale.

ğŸŽ¤ Calling all Barbz. Nicki Minaj is on stage at the Wells Fargo Center for her Pink Friday 2 World Tour on Friday at 8pm.

👑 Take in a night of drag and burlesque dedicated to the one and only Madonna at Franky Bradley's in the Gayborhood.

  • Friday at 8pm. Tickets: $15 online, $20 at the door.

🥚 Kids can collect Easter candy along Franklin Square's Hop-a-Long Trail on Saturday from 11am-1pm.

  • Registration is required. Only for children 10 and under.

🛍️ Support women entrepreneurs at Cherry Street Pier. Shop women-owned businesses, enjoy music, browse open studios and listen to a panel discussion.

  • Saturday from noon to 4pm.

🐰 Dress to the nines for the annual Easter Promenade on South Street on Sunday starting at 12:30pm.

  • This free, family-friendly event also includes contests for the best dressed.

🌸 Philly's cherry blossoms are expected to start reaching peak bloom in the coming days.

  • Don't miss out on one of the best (free) shows of the year throughout the city, including Kelly and Martin Luther King Jr. drives.
