I nearly ordered one of everything at Ria Pizzeria in downtown Rogers.
🍕 State of play: This spot serving refined Neapolitan-style pizza has a somewhat limited menu, as do many restaurants that clearly focus on quality over quantity.
- Expect a few staples like pepperoni and margherita, plus specialties like the Ria with calabresa sausage and okra, or the white-sauce-based Morta with mortadella, pistachio, and lemon.
🏆 Zoom in: Ordering one of everything wasn't realistic, so I chose to sample three pizzas with the help of three fellow diners.
- We went with the Roni ($19), a classic pepperoni; Meat Lovers ($22) with calabresa sausage, pepperoni and pork sausage; and the Pesto Pistachio ($19).
- All of these pies were at the top of their game on some notably good crust. The meat tasted high-quality, and the Pesto Pistachio was a tasty vegetarian option to balance out the others.
- Ria also has a solid selection of wine, beer and cocktails, so you're safe all around.

😋 By the numbers: All of the pizzas are 12-inch and range from $16 to $ 22. Given the thin crust, a really hungry diner could eat one on their own. But three pizzas easily fed four people at my table.
🍽️ Zoom out: Ria brings a different style of pizza to downtown Rogers and fills a gap left by Flashback Pizza and Milkshakes, which closed this year after two years in business.
🍫 What's next: I'm generally skeptical of dessert pizzas, but Ria has earned my trust, so I would give one a shot next time. I'm eyeing the Nutella one.
📍 Stop by: 4-9pm Sunday through Wednesday; 11am-2pm and 4-9pm Thursday through Saturday at 200 N. First St. in Rogers.
