The latest amenity to open on Walmart's new Bentonville campus is a 153-room hotel open to business travelers and the public alike.
Why it matters: The company has many visitors to its headquarters for business, and the on-campus AC Hotel makes it convenient for those travelers, Walmart spokesperson Raven Washabaugh told Axios.
Yes, but: Anyone can book a room at the hotel, which offers a fitness center, an AC Kitchen restaurant on the bottom floor and event space available to rent.
- A lounge, including a restaurant and open-air rooftop bar on the fifth floor, are also open to the public.
Zoom in: The hotel has several nods to Walmart founder Sam Walton throughout, including the name of the fifth-floor restaurant and bar — Falfurrias — after a Texas ranch that Walton used to visit. You'll find his hunting jacket and family photos displayed inside the lounge.
What's next: AC Hotel says it is now accepting reservations.
