Arkansas lawmakers are filing bills they're supporting in anticipation of the January legislative session.

- Here are 4 bills filed in the last week worthy of your time:
🔫 HB1067 would allow someone who legally owns guns to take temporary possession of a firearm from a licensed person who's under age 18, at the minor's request, for an agreed period of time.
- The bill would give immunity to the owner for death or injury resulting from the weapon while it's being held.
🤖 HB1071 would amend the Frank Broyles Publicity Rights Protection Act of 2016 to include protections for the likenesses and voices of individuals generated through artificial intelligence.
📝 SB12 would amend the state's Freedom of Information Act of 1967 to make all communications to or from the state's Board of Apportionment subject to open records requests.
- The Governor, Secretary of State and Attorney General are the only members of the board, which has the responsibility of redrawing district boundaries for the Arkansas House of Representatives and Senate.
SB13 would allow some victims of child sexual abuse to file civil claims without any time limit, among other things.
