Livvy Dunne: "LSU is an iconic school"

Livvy Dunne says LSU women's athletics are "history in the making" now as she's set to return for another year on the National Championship-winning gymnastics team.

The big picture: Dunne was one of several athletes representing Louisiana at the ESPYs in Hollywood on Thursday night.

What she said: "It's history in the making just to see women's sports at LSU take off. It's huge. Women's basketball really helped with that," she said on the red carpet.

"Us making history winning the national championship? That was the cherry on top."
"LSU is an iconic school."

Dig in: She also paused long enough to offer a restaurant recommendation.

"The Fiery Crab," she told Axios. "That's my favorite place to eat. I love seafood."
Plus, she said, "I love a good crawfish boil."

What's next: Dunne joins several of her fellow LSU athletes in "The Money Game," a new docu-series tracking the impact of NIL on college sports. It debuts this fall on Prime.
