Buzzy New York pizza chain heading to Nashville

A trendy New York-based pizza chain with outposts in Los Angeles and Miami is setting its sites on Nashville next.

Zoom in: Prince St. Pizza expects to open its 16th location next year in a 3,014-square-foot space at the Fifth + Broadway complex downtown. They'll offer pizza by the slice, pies, dine-in and carry-out.

What to expect: The slice shop is known for its square Sicilian slices loaded down with crispy pepperoni cups. They also serve Neapolitan-style pies.

State of plate: Prince St. Pizza drew long lines of fans at its original location in Manhattan. It has been expanding for several years, focusing on big cities with active food scenes.
