Zoom in: In-N-Out Burger landed in the top 20 during its debut year in the poll. Its score reflected a "very good" reputation.
The burger joint scored particularly well on consumer trust.
What's next: The company broke ground on its new corporate offices in Franklin last year and is considering 35 restaurant locations in Tennessee.
Zoom out: Amazon, which is a bedrock corporate tenant in the Nashville Yards development, ranked at No. 19 in the poll. Respondents scored its growth and services highly.
FedEx, which is based in Memphis, dropped 10 spots in the rankings to No. 43, but maintained a positive score.
Dollar General, which is based in Goodlettsville, ranked at No. 85 with a "fair" score. Respondents gave the retail giant's culture and services a low grade.
