Yes, the Nashville Predators' season went to the dogs, but there is still chance for one more win.
Driving the news: Filip Fursberg, a 12-week-old husky-shepherd mix dog, will represent Smashville in the second annual "Stanley Pup" showdown at 4:30pm tomorrow.
How it works: Filip — who was rescued by the Brandywine Valley SPCA — will take the stage in Preds colors alongside 31 other adoptable dogs repping NHL teams.
The pups will play a fluffier version of hockey on synthetic ice during the 90-minute match.
Zoomie in: Dogs can score goals by carrying a puck-shaped chew toy into a puppy-sized net.
The bottom line: The "game" is really an effort to draw attention to pet adoption. We're sure Filip will win the hearts of many fans.
