Titans to host free NFL Draft party at Nissan Stadium

The big picture: The silver lining of last season's brutal record is that the Titans get the first pick and the opportunity to begin a new era. The vast majority of analysts expect the team to select quarterback Cam Ward with the first pick.

The vibe: Gates will open at 5:30pm on Thursday when the first round takes place.

• The party will be interactive, giving fans the chance to tour the team's locker room and visit the mascot T-Rac's "den."
• There will be on-field fun as well, such as a field goal kick, quarterback toss and 40-yard dash.
• Stage programming begins at 6:15pm. Current and former players will make appearances. The draft will be livestreamed on the stadium's jumbotron.
