TSU marching band director removed due to audit findings

Why it matters: Interim president Dwayne Tucker said the decision to remove Reginald McDonald from the position stemmed from "outstanding travel requisitions and advances and related lack of compliance with TSU policies" discovered during an internal audit related to the school's financial crisis.

What he's saying: "Dr. McDonald will be on administrative leave with full pay while we continue this investigation," Tucker said in a statement. "As this is an ongoing personnel matter, I will not be able to comment further about it at this time."
