This is shaping up to be another consequential year for country music, with Music Row stars anchoring some of the biggest tours of the summer.

Why it matters: Strong ticket sales are another sign of the genre's cultural impact and financial might in a year that has seen multiple high-profile artists launching country crossover projects.

State of play: Country acts account for half of SeatGeek's top 10 artists who are touring this summer. The list is determined by overall sales on the ticket vendor's platform.

The top 10 from SeatGeek includes:

  1. Olivia Rodrigo
  2. Morgan Wallen
  3. Zach Bryan
  4. Rolling Stones
  5. Noah Kahan
  6. George Strait
  7. Luke Combs
  8. Hozier
  9. Chris Stapleton
  10. Justin Timberlake

Zoom in: Rodrigo also tops the list for average ticket resale prices at $571. Wallen comes in second with $409.

The big picture: SeatGeek reports that the average resale ticket price to attend a summer concert in the U.S. is $224, down from $269 around this time last year.

  • That might have something to do with Nashville's own Taylor Swift taking the Eras Tour abroad while Beyoncé is on a break.
