Early voting reminder: New precincts in effect

If you're civically minded and like to plan ahead, you have a few more days to vote early for the March 5 primary.

Why it matters: The Super Tuesday ballot includes the much-ballyhooed presidential primaries, but local primaries are also at play.

Don't forget: There are 12 early voting locations open to Davidson County residents, but some have changed. Five are new for this election.

For instance, Belle Meade City Hall is no longer an early voting site. But Hillwood High School has been added as a nearby alternative.
If you want to vote in Bellevue, head to the community center on Highway 70 South this time rather than the library.

State of play: The Davidson County Election Commission has posted more information about the changes.

By the numbers: 8,351 Nashville voters have cast their ballots so far, according to the election commission.
