Good news, Nashville foodies: Our long, Arnold's-less nightmare is coming to an end. At least temporarily.
Driving the news: Arnold's Country Kitchen will reopen at its old location on 8th Avenue South for four days next week including on Thanksgiving.
- The beloved meat-and-three plunged the city into mourning when it closed its doors earlier this year, albeit with the caveat that it hoped to reopen soon.
Details: Arnold's will feature its traditional cafeteria-style service from 11am to 3pm Monday through Wednesday.
- Thanksgiving seating is by reservation only.
Why it matters: The Thanksgiving week service may foreshadow a permanent reopening.
- Arnold's fan Jesse Q. asked on the restaurant's Facebook page, "So yall gonna open up permanently?"
- "I think we just might," the official Arnold's Facebook account responded. "The outcry from the community has been so wonderful. But stay tuned for the date. It might be around the first of the year 2024. But that's not [official]."
💠Nate's drooling thought bubble: Roast beef. Cauliflower casserole. Mashed potatoes. Banana pudding.
